Poor Willy is a humble little monkey bullied by the Suburban Gorilla Gang who cruelly name him Willy the Wimp. Tired of this negative label, Willy answers a bodybuilding advert in the paper and sets out to transform himself from wimp to beefcake. Through a series of humorous illustrations, the reader is privy to Willy’s training regime which is reminiscent of Rocky Balboa’s! Yet behind the funny pictures lies a significant moral to the story: although you can change how you look on the outside, you can’t change who you are on the inside.
