Hug by Jez Alborough

Bobo is a little chimp in need of a hug. He walks through the jungle in search of one but all he finds are other animal species receiving hugs from their families. As each page turns to the next, we witness Bobo’s distress until finally he finds his mummy and all the animals gather to witness their heart-warming reunion. A warm uplifting story that ends on a feel-good high. There are only three words used in the book, making it appropriate for toddlers starting to learn their first words and early readers taking their first steps on the reading ladder.
