Iris and Isaac by Catherine Rayner

30/10/2019Lollipop Library

The age-old lesson of sharing is brought to the fore here when two polar bears argue and fall out. Iris has built a snow nest which is too small for both bears to share although this doesn’t stop the pushing and shoving that follows. Iris pushes Isaac out and the friends go their separate ways only to realise, in time, the importance of their friendship. A good book for teaching toddlers and pre-schoolers about the importance of sharing and the consequences of not doing so, as well as the value of friendship.
