Tara the tiger is restless and wants to play before bedtime, so she goes in search of a playmate in the jungle. But her footsteps and her roar are too loud for the creatures she encounters and she frightens them all away. Will any of the jungle-dwellers play with her before it’s time for bed? The author invites the reader to take part throughout the story by asking lots of questions and encouraging active engagement. After so much activity, by the end of the story the reader is sure to be sleepy, just like the little tiger cub Tara.
